<p></p>
<div>The Deerhead Bonspiel is a bit unique in that the grand price, a one-eye&#8217;d, broken-nosed, mangled-ear&#8217;d, mangy-coated, dusty dear head, goes to the winner of the 3rd event.  The 2010 winning team was skipped by Poynette&#8217;s Travis Cox and included Lori Cox, Andy Bernstein, and John Pederson.  Congratulations also to Team Kretzman, winner of the first event, and Team Dubberstein, winner of the third event.</div>
<div>Aside:  Our second round draw came down to an extra end where skips throw to see who can come closest to the button.  Travis Cox landed the first rock about 9 inches out.  My ears are still ringing after Brittany Falk&#8217;s velociraptor-like scream after putting her stone right on the button. Congrats on the nice win!</div>
